Lasik Co-Management at Optical Delights

Patients who do not want to wear eye glasses or contact lenses now have the option of surgical correction of their eyes. The optometrist can do all of the preliminary testing necessary for accurate correction of the vision and the post surgery monitoring of the healing and recovery process.  The lids, cornea and tear film are evaluated to determine if surgery is a safe option.  After the surgery, the patient is seen several times to monitor the corneal flap made by the surgery and manage any inflammation that might develop.  If necessary, referral for enhancement would be made if the vision could be improved.
